After many weeks of unpredictable waiting and planning, the time has finally arrived: From the beginning of June, guests from Germany and Switzerland will once again be able to travel through Austria to South Tyrol, even if Austria is still keeping the borders closed for its own citizens for the moment.
We are pleased by this provision as guests are the most protected when they arrive in their own vehicle. This means there's nothing more stopping you from having a wonderful holiday.
This news gives us two reasons to be happy. We are pleased that the number of people infected with coronavirus is dropping in Italy and generally throughout Europe, and naturally that we will soon be able to get back to work and greet our guests! Although we can hardly wait, we want to play it safe, because the well-being of our employees and guests is top priority.
However, from Friday 3 July 2020 Hotel Plunhof will once again be opening its gates.
As usual, our focus will be on assuring the highest standards of hygiene in our hotel for the protection of our guests and employees. With our spacious well-being and spa areas, our guests can enjoy a dream holiday without any worries whatsoever!
Owing to current modifications being made to the COVID-19 provisions and those expected in the near future, we will inform you of the exact measures very soon.
