Are you coming by car? ...
When coming by car from Germany, the Netherlands, or Austria, you’ll first drive towards Innsbruck and then continue along the Highway A13/E45 across the Brenner/Brennero Pass.
When coming from Switzerland, it’s best to first proceed towards Feldkirch (Austria), and then to continue on the Arlberg Freeway S16/E60 to Tirol and then, at Zams, to take the Inn Valley Highway A12/E60 until you come to Innsbruck. Then take the A13/E45 across the Brenner/Brennero Pass.
Don’t forget:
In Austria, you are required to have a toll sticker on all highways (Autobahnen). And the Brenner/Brennero Highway A22 is also a toll road.
Starting at the Brenner/Brennero Pass, you are in Italy, on the Autostrada del Brennero A22/E45 (toll road!). About 15 km after the Brenner/Brennero Pass, you’ll come to the Sterzing/Vipiteno exit. In Sterzing/Vipiteno, take the Jaufenstrasse SS44 and follow the signposts to Ratschings/Racines and Ridnaun/Ridanna. Once you’ve reached Ridnaun/Ridanna, you can’t miss the Plunhof!
